You need to tell him that you have had complaints and that the problem needs to be solved ASAP and ask if there is anything you can do to help.

People in polite modern society need some form of deodorant in addition to regular bathing - even more so in an active environment.

There are a wide variety of solutions - no reason to STINK so much more than your coworkers.

And if you don't deal with it, your employees may try to - and those non-PC methods may cause a lawsuit.

That's right. Plain alcohol used with a cotton ball also works. Tom's and other companies have wonderful deodorants that are a lot less harsh than the typical ones found on store shelves. Antiperspirants have way more chemicals (aluminum) than do deODORants. I would just be frank and say that if he chooses not to wear something on his own time then that's up to him, but he needs to go up to FTHOI and get a natural product to use at work or use the home spun suggestions A made in quoted post.

If he doesn't like to wear deo then go get him a stick of Sure invisible solid. Ask him to use it. I work around kids and some of them are unaware they have b.o. Sometimes it gets to the pint that I have to say something and have never had anyone get offended. Most are relieved I told them!
