A 1973 visit to Peace Park and the Museum there remains one of the most powerful things I've ever experienced. The images are so real and horrific--it was very sad to me--at the end of the exhibit area, though, there was a simple plaque with words of peace and a prayer that nothing like this ever happens again...the intensity of emotion will remain with me forever.
