I can't take this.
It feels like the pavement is blowing heat right up on you.
I'm staying inside until I have to go out. There is no break in the city. :(

Hope you have a good A/C unit. The humidity is so bad still at 9:30 pm, could arely breathe outside. and its usually about 5 degrees warmer in the city from where I am.

it's hibernating time at my house. wish we would have several wet, rainy, stormy days... we're dryer than I can ever remember!!! but we are getting a few black clouds with a threat of a storm (giving some relief from the heat) but it always turns the other way and takes the rain up to Ohio I do believe!

Oh, this thread is about the weather. I was hoping for pics of someone hot.

well, I for one am not going to complain. We made it to Memphis two weeks ago, and of course, its about 100 degrees here today. But my sister in NYC says its hot there too. When we left upstate NY, it had rained for weeks, it was cold, and then there were the tent caterpillars which ate our oak canopy in the backyard, dropping "fras" all over us. I'll take hot here in Memphis any time over the weather we endured this spring.

It was unbelievably cold in upstate NY in mid-June--my college had its graduation on June 11th--and I was dressed for winter under my academic gown. I forgot to wear gloves--and I froze. People (parents) were seeking out hot tea and coffee (my college had outdoor graduations)--I never want to go thru that again!!

Dang, newyorker, that's hard for us here in Texas to believe! It's 9:00 here and still 98. I think on June 11, it was probably a balmy 95!

Thanks Oceanlover. Good thing I didn't run into this guy on the street or I might have been embarrassed if he had caught me trying to read the writing on his - is that a bathing suit????
