Hot summer weekend plans?

we have a babysitter both nights (Fri and Sat)!!! which is unheard of. going to Alys Beach tonight for a cocktail, then try to find some sushi. going to Fabrice Sat night for some fine french cuisine... I hear we're doing some kayaking on the creek on Sunday...

Now, this is truly hot summer weekend plans! ;-)

Going to a fancy new restaurant, Craft, located at the new W Hotel with a couple we always celebrate mutual anniversaries with. I wonder if they use a hot glue gun in the kitchen?

getting up far toooo early to take a teacher certification test so i can add a "kindergarten" certification to my certificate and, perhaps, teach a nice little group of kindergarteners in florida next year.

Yep, you are right AB, so I have to go and get school supplies tax free. Do you know how I am so looking forward to the crowds? Did I mention I HATE to shop for any reason, and now I am going to be thrown in with the masses. Please pray for me.

On a lighter note..tonight is my weekly poker playing, drinking beer night with my neighbors. I so look forward to Fridays!!!

Kitty, I bet you're in for a real treat. The Craft restaurant in NYC is supposed to be one of the best restaurants going; I've read so much about it, would love to go someday. Looks like your Craft in Big D is part of the family, you lucky gull!

I will be at Alys Beach tonight also. Then I am going on to 393 with IBD and Mr Spam (at least those are the unconfirmed plans) Tomorrow night I have a hot date with Spidey (hence the sitter for Sat night!...the cost of food and lodging :funn: ) Sunday..Kayaking if weather permits!!!!!

What's everyone doing this weekend? Short trips? Yard work? Eating out? Drinking wine?

We are going to a Music Theater Louisville performance of "Cinderella" at an amphitheater on Sunday. Kate is pretty excited.

AND- I am taking down a Christmas tree. Not lying. Will has a small tree in his room that is still up. I think it is time.

I just took down an easter tree today....dont feel bad


I am going to alys for drink and then 393 w/allifunn.
