House Fire - Scenic 30A Closed in Blue Mountain Beach [Update - road open]

Walton County Sheriff's Office has closed down a portion of 30A following a structure fire from Blue Mountain Rd to 83. Avoid the area if possible. South Walton Fire District is on scene. We will update this post with further information.

16 Sandcastle Court - no injuries reported. House next door also caught fire at 28 Sandcastle Court.

UPDATE: fire is contained, Okaloosa Gas was able to stop the gas leak. SWFD and WCSO remain on scene and the State Fire Marshals office is on the scene determining the cause and origin.

Road is open.
