While both are cool I'm not so sure they would make it past the architectual board in a Nooga neighborhood

Which neighborhood and area of town? Southern Living has tons of plans on their website.

These two homes approved for Alys Beach are my favorite:

I love those too bsmart. The second one is their showhome....very nice terrace!

I want one of these here in Dallas, in an "urban" area so I can walk and ride my bike places! Hmmmm.....HMM is out of the country, maybe I'll go find a lot tomorrow!!!

When we worked with an architect on our plans, we had no regard for hurricanes - I mean, they never came to SoWal. In retrospect, I would have not been so focused on lots of windows and instead have been totally focused on hurricane-proofing my home. I like the two new homes just west of the bed and breakfast on 30-A in Seagrove because their decorative shutters are also hurricane shutters. The way our windows are configured there's no way we could retrofit shutters to the design. So we're stuck with either boarding up or those ugly rolldown metal shutters.

Signal Mtn.

That is where we'd go if we moved back to the Nooga. My bro-in-law who lives there is a builder if you are looking for one.

I guess that is the place to be since there is going to be a new high school. G
