Houses for sale in Grayton

Someone had posted infor on houses for sale in Grayton ( the original Grayton)on the Bham News website Al.com. I scanned the postings and went to get my husband to show him the listings but by the time I got him to the computer, the posting had been taken down. Anyone know which realtors are handling the listings in Grayton. I am not a realtor and do not know the correct lingo, but it looked to me as if the listings were up for sale by bank s holding the mortgages.

I appreciate your response. I am however very ambivalent. I do not want to buy a property that the bank is taking away from another family caught in the mortgage mess. I would have trouble enjoying myself in a home that another family was not ready to get rid of...

Even if it is a second home that someone needs to get rid of? Maybe I seem harsh, but IMO, not being able to afford a SECOND home is much different than being in trouble on a primary home.

In Grayton, chances are the homes haven't been taken away from families...more likely than not, they've been abandoned by investulators.

I know of several instances where investulators just walked away because they bought during the peak and had no intentions of holding on. Have no remorse for these individuals.
