How do you tell people about your new Big 10?

In terms of bowl names, I've yet to see one that will top the utter awesomeness of the old Poulan Weed-Eater Independence Bowl.
And I'll join the ranks of people who are wondering what they were thinking with the logo. There are some very good graphic design people at the Big Whatever schools. (One of the mister's old design profs is in the Smithsonian fer pete's sake.) Any one of them could have come up with something better given the chance to do so.

Wow! I was not aware the Big Ten logo was a 45 minute 3rd grade computer graphics project in 1993. And I bet they paid handsomely for that! :roll:
Not to mention that while they were rebranding, noone thought to address the fact that they have 12 schools now?
Northwestern football players are "legends" despite never winning a Heisman, while Ohio State football players are "leaders" despite 9 Heismans - including the only 2 time winner?
At least now we know what the folks from the beach and the blue sign contingent have been up to. ;-)
