so here's the story. at work we are having a "pot luck" lunch. of course i didn't plan ahead so i decide this morning between sowal'n and watching regis and kelly that i am going to just make a salad. so i figure i could use my food processor to cut the carrots and cucumbers up and they would look nicely sliced right? wrong. there are carrots all over the kitchen and they are finely chopped. not good.

Listen... Use that to make salsa.
For potlucks buy a bucket of fried chicken and call it a day.

i have never used it for anything but salsa but i was told they where a handy thing to use for slicing.

Only if you use the right blade. Once I shredded lettuce and had puree. It was really disgusting. Try the blade for slicing.

Step 1: Unplug blender and put in cabinet.
Step 2: Go get a bucket of chicken.
