Too much puter info for a gal thats only had one cup of java!!!!!

Actually all you need is a username and password for a server that gives you ftp privileges. I use several - one for work, one for personal stuff, and one for beachrunner stuff. Without downloading any software you can use your favorite browser and instead of typing the usual protocol (like http://www.weather.com), in the address bar type ftp://yourloginname@domainname.extension. The first time you'll be asked for username and password. Then you just copy and paste your files from your computer to that directory. Bingo - you've ftp'ed. Some of the software mentioned by John R is more efficient, but you can ftp directly from your browser.

Warning: some ISPs don't let you ftp css or cgi or php or jsp or asp or shtml etc. - they only allow html, htm, jpg, and gif.

then:

How to convert flac files to wav to burn to CD,

go to www.mikewren.com/flac

download the latest version and install it.

BEST CHOICE:

after you install flac front end, if you use Nero to make your disks with, you will be able to burn flac directly to audio disk - so you are DONE!

SECOND BEST-

Use flac front end to convert flac to wave - it is drag and drop. Drag the flac files into flac front end, then press the decode button.

Then, you can burn the wav files to audio cd.
John R, I don't use Nero to burn discs. I use Roxio or Real Player mostly. Will your first option work when using Roxio or Real Player to burn disc?
