On the following subjects, A -> F grading scale:
1) leadership
2) foriegn policy
3) domestic policy
4) communication
5) economy
I'm curious how people perceive his work thus far. My grades would be:
1) D - It feels to me as if congress is thrashing about. The president should be taking a stronger role in getting them to work together, but he seems absent to me.
2) A- - would have been an A if it weren't for Libya. Winding the Iraq war down, committed to finishing what we started in Afghanistan, and healing middle eastern relations... Overall pretty good.
3) B - I think he's done ok on the domestic front in general. He's ended bad policies such as DADT, but he's also continued to wage the war on drugs. I was expecting more open minded policies on some issues.
4) B - Seems to approach everything from a very high level. Feels somewhat out of touch.
5) C - Implemented what he believed was the right policy in the down turn, but his failure to address our current budget problems and lack of involvement in the current discussion is frustrating. I wonder if he realizes just how on edge the population is on the issue.
