Huge Wreck on 98?

New posts
When I came back from lunch in PCB at about 12:15, all traffic was routed from 98 to 30A. It has been bumper to bumper out there ever since!

All clear at 4:45 when we went down 98. Saw them working on the power pole. Looks like the guys burying the pipe knocked down a pole which dropped wires across all 4 lanes.

Preview of what will happen when all these condos are occupied and it's raining, so no one is on the beach....???????

all the market research skipped over the part about infrastructure needs....
and the County commissioners forgot to read The Growth Management Act.

Regarding lack of infrastructure....

So if there was another alternative to Hwy 98, other than 30-A, where would it be built? If I remember correctly, the proposed alternate routes north of 98 were studied and scrapped.

All roads get closed from time to time. Stuff happens. And given we are having massive traffic, I am grateful that nobody was hurt or killed when the power lines went down.
