That's awesome! 18 babies this winter off the coast of Ga.

Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky again and see a pair this September feeding in the Bank. We were told that the Right whale would probably be extinct in our lifetime, and that we would never see a mother and calf again either. This is hopeful. Thanks, that made my night.
BTW, you can tell a humpback from a right whale by the blow. The humpback's is like a V, and the right whale's is straight up. So, if anyone spots a whale blow from afar, that's how you can tell the difference.
two large whales go by near the second sand bar off Grayton Beach. Did anyone else spot them....I was hoping someone had pictures to share. The water was crystal clear he said and he saw quite a few nice sized fish and caught 5.
I missed that too!
