So sorry you are in this situation. I have friends who are also out of work and have been for months and my son just recently became out of work as well and my other son has been looking for months with no luck and no one that will even answer a job application so don't feel alone, it is bad right now for alot of people.

It's not just you. i am a single mother unemployed since may. no savings since september. You can make it. I panicked but am making it day by day. never thought I'd be in this position. You have not failed... the economy has.

This is really a bad situation, that has been going on for some time. I wish organizations and individuals would step up to the plate and lets figure something out toward a solution. The new campus soon to open in a year or two surely will help, somekind of work/study program would be a good idea. Ease up on new small business start up costs with the county, the small business administration http://www.sba.gov/ is a good place.
