hnooe, hang in there, you will get it. Sweetie is on my profile page here on SoWal and she has pictures on Facebook, we are not on Myspace. First time lil' FFF mentioned Myspace a few years ago I was like, "yeah, i've heard of it." ran off to my laptop and went to check it out. :blink: too much nasty stuff on there, so nope, we are not on that one.

jdarg, you are so right about finding old friends, one of my favorite high school friends, that I lost touch with during college, and I are meeting in New Orleans this weekend. She lives there and we have emailed a few times over the last 6 -8 years, but never got in touch....until now! I can't wait to see her! I also like keeping in touch with family and it's a great way to share pictures that never seem to get printed out and mailed.

You would not believe all the messages I get on there asking "ummm, who is so & so?

It still can't compare to SoWal.com.:wub:

fb makes me do this...:creepy:. I keep trying it, but the same thing happens everytime. Reminds me of the profile page on steroids. I did find out there are PMs on that thing.

I grew up in a small town - where my parents still live with the same phone number and address and where all past schools, employers, friends etc. still send mail. My college updates my address faster than the US post office, has a permanent email forwarding system, a secure online alumni directory, and a classmate setup a yahoo group that emails everyone group emails, so I am as "found" as I need to be! :biggrin:

Facebook, myspace, etc. can become TMI far too easily and those pictures are there forever - as some job seekers are finding out!
 
FB will never compare to SoWal but I have had funn reconnecting with old friends. How funny to find out that one of my dorm gulls knew SJ! Small world!

Many old photos are posted and like Jdarg and BB, I have talked to people that I have not seen in at least 15 years, or more!!

I do get poked and superpoked. Chat some and get/give flair!

The funniest thing to me is that non-sowallers probably think that I dont know how to spell funn!! :lol:
