Idiot motorcyclists by angelina's restaurant!

I was stopped on 30A around 7:45 tonight, due to traffic. Three guys on Harley type motorcycles, that were EXTREMELY loud, flew around traffic on the sidewalk!:pissed: You are not wanted, nor welcome, in our paradise, with your brainless actions! You may have children, so ask yourselves this question. Would you want them around, that kind of stupidity? That would be, a NO!:bang: We have a lot of children and people wanting to SAFELY enjoy all that SOWAL, has to offer. Don't ruin it for them, go elsewhere!:clap::clap:

Sadly, they probably didn't hear you. As a motorcyclist myself, I personally wouldn't feel safe going around traffic, with the way the sand lays there. Way to easy to lose control, and, with all the bike path traffic, who knows after that.

Yep, and they will be there very ones that are screaming "Whatch out for motorcycles!". And, while we're venting, what's up with the flashing headlights on those things?

couple bad apples give bikers everywhere a bad name.

There are idiot drivers occupying all modes of transportation, not just motorcycles.
The flashing headlight is probably a safety option. When there are 10 bikes riding together, they are easily visible. When there is only one bike, not so much. If there's a strobe light on the bike, the visibility is much higher for other motorists and they're more likely to see the bike.
I sit here worried sick about my husband on his bike during the height of spring break. He is coming home when many of the breakers are leaving the beach after drinking all day. :bang:

30a b/m, the flashing headlight is a safety feature that one can ad on to the bike. Although I have never added one to mine, you'd be amazed at the motorists that will pull out in front of you. Had it happen today, as I was west bound near Destin on 98.

Every time I am stuck in traffic I think to myself, "Oh, if i just had my bike, I could just ride around this traffic." But then I snap back into reality. I'm not on a bike, I am in my HUGE GAS GUZZLING SUV, and I just have to sit here and idol. Oh well!

That doesn't stop quite a few people - they will use the shoulder, bike path, someone's yard, you name it, to pass. Didn't see these motorcycles do it, but I have seen quite a few cars doing it at that location - especially the crazy bike rental guy w/ the trailer. :bang:
