Science or Art, which would you choose? Why?

science, because i'd rather learn about facts.

art is subjective. but i enjoy it too.

Art, because it opens up creativity...then, science can come forth--
listen to all the scientists who will say they were working on something else and then...something unexplained happened, and they discovered a new world, a cure for a disease; another layer of civilization, a breakthrough in space travel...whatever.

It was the magic that made the difference!

I don't think you can separate the two - science is the basis of what allows artists to create the works we enjoy.

Chemistry is needed to mix paints & cast metal, anatomy/biology to accurately depict a subject, math for perspective and laying out canvases, physics to allow a sculpture to be carved and stand, light to show dimension and contrast..............

Art is alot about imagination, which stimulates the brain and has unlimited possibilities. Science also has unlimited possibilities. But I think science taxes the brain more and causes you to reach beyond your boundries.

Tough one for me because I believe with science comes art, but you must possess that creativity to bring art into something appreciated. So, if I had to choose, it would be the Science of Art!
