Oh what a blast! My face hurts from smiling- Mermaid, Merman, Merkids, and Peapod are wonderful!!

We shopped, ate, drank, went to a wonderful orchestra performance at Butler U., made a special stop in 15 degree weather to buy a CERTAIN SOMEONE a $1 Powerball ticket, laughed, yakked, and I enjoyed every minute with these people! And of course we talked about y'all!!

I can't even describe how fantastic the Mer house is- it is a wonderful, creative, happy, and warm place. And gorgeous beyond words too.

So thanks Mermaid and Merman for having us- and Peapod for driving so dang far. Can't wait to do it again. And those of you in other cities with SoWallers- y'all get together. It is really fun. Look out Cheering- I'm coming after ya!!

Actually yes, but I think Pea has the most- my camera battery died. I have a great picture of Mermaid and Merman.

And BTW Percy- can I have a pic preview before you go global with them????

Sounds wonderful!! I can say from experience that getting together with fellow sowallers is just too much funn! I am so glad you had a memorable time--I knew you would! The Mer's sound like wonderful hosts!

A very sleepy Mermaid reporting in! I can't stop yawning. Maybe staying up 'til the wee hours is what did it for us?? Too much funn. :clap_1:

We didn't even get out of our jammies until nearly lunchtime today, and then we embarked on round 2 of shopping. We spent an hour today (at least ;-) ) at Sephora being a bunch of girly girls, squirting each other with perfumes and trying on lipsticks and sticking goo in our hair. It was so much funn!

I"m thinking right now how brave Pea and jdarg were. I mean, they never met us before in the flesh and here they are driving hours not only to visit but to sleep over!!! What a leap of faith that was. I'm really impressed with these two gulls. We had the best time swapping beach stories and chit-chatting. And they were perfect houseguests. Even better, Merman and I have made new friends for here and the beach. I don't like it, I love it!!!
