May, 1989 was our very first trip down to SoWal! Our daughter Fyl was just six months old. I remember that seaweed and how different the shore line looked then. I was looking at our old beach photos earlier this week, in fact, and was shocked to see how many empty spaces there were on the beach! It sure has changed in the passing years.

And can you imagine that it is high season and no one on the beach? If it was last June, the beach would be lined up with people. No Cabana Man then, either.

And we stayed in Destin.

Oh, if we had only bought land then!!!
