Wouldn't it be great if the lakes had road signs like the commercial developments do? Here we have these rare coastal dune lakes. Why not mark them clearly so people know what they are seeing? Same with the forests and parks. Eastern Lake used to have two signs, but one got knocked down when building the pedestrian bypass and has not been replaced.

I would agree with this if we could get rid of the 45,000 unnecessary signs currently on "Scenic 30A". As of now I have to say "NO MORE SIGNS PLEASE"!!!!!!![]()
Hmm, I've never thought of them that way. I'm trying to imagine 30A with 45,000 less signs. Too bad there still would be all the buildings. What signs are the most unnecessary?

I may be exaggerating just a tad.
Once you start looking you see a lot of unneeded signs. Many of them "official" state or county signs. Certainly the bike path signs, many of which are confusing and likely to cause injury. Some people will bike right into them. There are a lot of visiting bike riders that don't ride much or are not paying attention. Wham!!!![]()
