Riding my bike home from work today, after turning onto 395, I saw a tan Lexus ppulling up to 395, from Live Oak. Thinking that the nice looking blonde saw me, I wheeled in front of her, only to end up on my backside. Yes, I was pushed over. Fortunately, my back pack had my am clothes inside to brace my fall.

Frustrated, I still kept my cool, but let her know that she needs to watch better. Rode away, with no damage to me, or my bike. She probably had a few skid marks in her under side, and I'm sure she had a "few" thoughts running through her mind, as she backed up, after realizing what had happened.

Good thing I add to my am prayers for a safe ride to and from.

So, sowallers, PLEASE watch as you cross the bike path. And, princess Sadie still has a playmate at the "condo".

Cheese, you have to be careful out there. Remember, these peeps leave their brains at home when they come down here. And they pay no attention at all to the crosswalks.

Sadie would be very upset!!

yikes cheesehead! glad you are unscathed.

So many people just do not know where they are going, they are looking around everywhere - checking out the scenery, probably texting and perhaps drinking.

Be careful out there bikers! Drivers - go very slowly. especially watch out for children on bikes or near the roadside.

Glad you are okay!

It's crazy out there - even for folks like us that ride on the path.

I don't go in front of any car unless I have eye contact with the driver.......and I have to wear a helmet as per Sowal wench directive #44.

You could at LEAST have blackmailed her for a phone number and dinner.

The art of negotiation is dead!

Glad you're okay :D

::::note to self: No biking around blonde Lexus drivers ::::

actually, we do hate cyclists. just kidding no, we love 'em as people. but when they are on the road, even following the rules, it sometimes makes me feel like I am going to have a head on collision with oncoming traffic because there is just no room for all of us on 30A. and this has nearly happened to me on more than one occasion, around blind curves or even on the straight and narrow - and I am always slow and patient with that biker - I don't want to run anyone over. But, he's in my dam way!

okay, I know.. we've already had this conversation a zillion times.

Where did all that come from? :idontno: I didn't write that !?!
