I vote for the Coppertone sports spray #15. It worked great on our vacation!!!
I love to watch people spraying this stuff into the wind, and they are on the upside of the wind. Note: Stand upwind when peeing, and downwind when applying spray sunblock.

??? Do these continuous sprays use CFCs to pump the spray?

It was awful. We weren't inside the door at the Mers 2 minutes before it started. She had eaten a Bugs Bunny popsicle from the dreaded ice cream man. It was GRAY, like Bugs. For the life of me, I could not figure out what was coming out of the child. Poor thing- she hurled and hurled- I thought her head was going to start spinning around. I think everyone caught the splatter on our shoes.

After that, she said she felt better. But she was a bit burpy, and every time she burped, 7 people dove for the waste basket to hold under her. We were a bit jumpy.

She's a champ though, and insisted on hitting the beach the next day. She took a big nap, but wasn't going to let a little honking ruin her vacation!

fyi - i apply mine in the house, i don't like to put it on while on the beach for the reason you mentioned. i just reapply when it is pee break time. i don't know about the cfc's....

yahoo search wins!

mylar juice pack inside a scuba tank - i'd love to hold the manufacturing patent on that little bright idea

"The third winner was aerosol cans housing Coppertone Continuous-Spray sunscreens. One sunscreen is housed in a white Trimline model aerosol can supplied by CCL Container, while the Coppertone Sport sunscreen is housed in the supplier?s Trimwave can.

Both the Trimline and Trimwave cans feature an advanced barrier system. A foil laminate pouch houses the product inside the can, keeping the product separate from the can?s compressed-air propellant. ?The product maintains its integrity because it isn?t mixed with the propellant,? says Mark Goda, director of research and development for CCL Container.

Another benefit of the cans is that they can be held at any angle when dispensing product. ?Our system can dispense 360 degrees, meaning it can dispense product if it is held upright, at an angle, or upside down,? says Goda. ?This means you really don?t have to worry about the orientation of the container as you?re dispensing.?"

OMG - sometimes I burn even when using SPF50. The Neutrogena spray I used was an SPF45.
