No, the air is fairly dry, but it is cold and the high today is predicted to be around 59F degrees.

If it hit 59 here on Dec. 21, we'd put on shorts!

I know, I know, and if the water temp was 71F degrees up there, you would go swimming. However, I don't melt when the humidity is 95% and the temp is 98F degrees. I have the beach blood.

In all honesty, 59 is still fairly cold to me too. I might wear sandles but not shorts! Buts lots of these hardy Northerners would!

Abosolutely - if the water temp is 71 we are swimming - Lake Michigan seldom makes it about that.

Hope it gets warmer down there soon - we are flying in on Monday for a week. But no matter what the temp - we are planning on a lot of beach walking. :clap_1:

Well, we finally hit a heat spell here in the frozen north by the lake. It was 24 degrees on the way in to work this morning. If it gets a little warmer we will be out tanning in shorts and tank tops. Looks like it will reach 40 tomorrow.

Thanks - looking forward to it. They are tiling our place right now - so will have some cleaning up to do - (that tile dust goes everywhere) - but should still have plenty of time for beachwalking and meeting friends for a few.

It can snow on Saturday and Sunday - just as long as Monday am at 7 am we have clear skies at ORD - so we can get the heck out of here. This winter has been too much already and it only officially starts today!!!!!
