Come up with a new name for TN. Last time I checked, UT was the University of Texas, and well, we just won't go there now, will we?

Seeing as I was born and raised where UT is, it has always been called UT by people in Knoxville and wherever else that like them. There is UT Chattanooga, UT Martin, UT Knoxville, UT Memphis, etc. Their website:http://utsports.cstv.com/ official website for the University of Tennessee. The University of Tennessee was founded in 1794. Way before the University of Texas. I like the Longhorns though. Cheered for them in the championship game last year.

I don't know how they won it. Their stadium is only the 14th largest in the nation.

I don't follow football, so it took me quite a while to decipher the title of this thread. I almost pm'd BR about it. But now, I can decipher just about anything because I have learnt so much on this board!

This can be my fall project. (Like I need another distraction). I will need to pick a team though. I am a graduate of UK, attended USC (S.Carolina USC, not CA), and took a few classes at Univ of Louisville. Well rounded- that's me.

I may have to "root" for the Gamecocks, for reasons beyond my control. I mean- so much more funn to cheer for the Cocks, huh? Cardinals = snore. Wildcats = yawn.

Although I may have to be Gator fan?!?
