I have used Frontline Plus on my two fur babies since I have had them. I have never seen a tick or flea on them since. It is great stuff.
Is this one of your fur babies K-Dwell?
And the other one is the doggie that smiles?

If Rachel Ray is annoying (& I agree, but I do like her) what about Paula Deen? I mean, I'm all about listening to Southern accents but hers is just too much. It is sickening thick. Really grates on me. Does anyone else think so??
I guess I have a love/hate relationship with her, too. Sometimes I love Paula's accent, but other times it gets annoying. The most annoying things to me about her are (a) you can normally predict that she'll use a cup of mayonnaise or a stick of butter in every recipe, and (b) most things she cooks are white/yellow/tan. I like a variety of colors in a menu - I always make sure that I have something red, something green, and something in white/yellow/tan when I serve a meal. Our country club is bad about that at the Sunday buffet - they'll have fried chicken, fish, potatoes, rice, squash, and rolls ... and nothing green or red.

Sorry about the tangent. We started talking about ticks and ended up talking about food. :puke:

Kathy.....that doggie is too cute

Thank you, girlfriend. She is a sweetie. I rescued her from the Humane Society at 7 weeks old. She has been such a joy and blessing to me!!!

Not really. She reminds me of a family friend that was really special and I really miss her. Paula sounds just like her! I thought it was just me but my youngest brother recognized it as well. We may be the exceptions.

Paula Dean Rules!!! I love her. She has recipe for banana pudding that is to die for. I have made it several times to bring in to work and to bring to family functions. Everyone requests it. It is called: Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding recipe follows. I promise, if you make this and take it anywhere, you will alway's have to bring it!!!

Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding

2 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies
6 to 8 bananas, sliced
2 cups milk
1 (5-ounce) box instant French vanilla pudding
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping thawed, or equal amount sweetened whipped cream

Line the bottom of a 13 by 9 by 2-inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and layer bananas on top.

In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended. Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and cover with the remaining cookies. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Oh, yeah, I forgot the whipped cream and cream cheese. AND IT'S YELLOW!

I'm just teasing you all. I watch Paula Deen every time I get a chance. Everyone can get annoying sometimes (or in my case, most of the time - don't you DARE agree - LOLOL).
