Jesse has braces now!

Here we go with braces stories! I had to have an expander on my upper jaw before I got mine put on. It had to be turned every day to slowly expand my upper jaw. The day I got it taken off it felt like my whole head shrank in immediately! It hurt soooo bad.

Ater I got the braces off, I lost my retainer and never got another one. Big mistake, now I need braces again and am seriously considering getting them.

This is what my 11 year old son is going through now!!! turning the key twice a week to expand his jaw but he is doing really good with it, no complaints so far :clap_1:

If he ever breaks an arm or leg (heaven forbid!) ,you'd better hide all the saws in your house too! And people wonder why I drink!

I've taken out my own stitches before...but I don't think I'd be able to saw off a cast!

Both my kids had braces...they are all off now...and their teeth look GREAT!!! Well worth the expense...an investment in their dental future!

I forgot about stitches! Like I said, the boy was a handful! Sweet in his own way. But he had a side too. We tried to keep him as involved in sports and activities to make sure all his energy was channeled as productively as possible. He just like to act as his own physician from time to time! :funn:
