Hello to all:I have a son-in-law that has recently brought my lovely daughter to the Panhandle (P-Cola). We are thrilled that they are closer to home and want to keep them here. She had no trouble obtaining a terrific job.
The problem has been on his side. He has placed numerous applications and has had as many as three interviews at locations without success.
He is a big ole bubba, but truly a hard worker, gentle as a lamb and a great communicator. Problem is no advance education. He is great with his knowledge in the labor force, CDL, welding, construction etc.
Now to my request for advice/help. He is very interested in the Commercial fishing industry or the oil field (off-shore) industry. I believe that either could provide him an excellent career path. The problem is sifting through the BS advertisements/brokers to find legitimate opportunities.
Does any here have expertise/connections/advise in these fields?
