Judge Wells statement: "good side" of Walton County

Judge Wells said it was a nice change to see the "good side" of Walton County today. He had all the future lawyers in his court today. The rest of the the regular people must be the bad side of the county. Explain what makes those kids different Wells. Please!

Well, its a courtroom that is usually full of potential criminals awaiting judgement. I am sure gazing at fresh young students instead of drunks and thieves could be considered 'the good side'. Why would you read anything else into that?

Judge Wells has had to rule on several very difficult and heart wrenching cases regarding youth in our county in the past months. I am sure this experience was a welcome respite. He and his family have been the beacon of fair judiciary rulings in this county for decades.

can't make sense of or respond to this statement. No one has said judges or lawyers are "the good side"...most do the jobs they were hired to do. If we witness our youth excited, inquisitive, and challenged to share their truth....that, is a good thing.

Emeraldcoastdave also thinks that drinking and driving is okay as long as you don't get caught and we should lower the police presence in the off season so drunk drivers can have a better chance of getting home unmolested by the law. :roll:
