June Grass at Watersound beach?

Can anyone tell me if the watersound beach area is infested with june grass like everything west of there is?

We were at Seagrove for labor Day week and only had one day of overall spinach soup. The june grass would coagulate in areas leaving very nice large spans of delightful, beautiful clear water, until mid to late afternoon. Then the grass would get stirred up by the waves but would be back collected in select spots in the mornings.
