I'm not a huge fan of Meredith Viera, but they could do a lot worse.

:funn: Shut up whitey! Stop! I like Meredith. I just hope they find someone to complement Matt. He's the best.whiteyfunn said:I have heard this too. I wonder if she will keep doing Millionare if she takes the Today Show job...

The 1st time I heard it was actually only yesterday. I'm thinking she is probably "ageless" in their eyes. Look at Diane Sawyer. No spring chicken there, but a great newsperson or newsreader I should say (imo). At least its not Barbara Walters, et al. Wasn't Meredith on 60 Min. a long time ago?peapod1980 said:I just read it for the first time this morning, hadn't heard it before steele mama said it, then I read it on the web. But she's older than Katie! I guess if they want a seasoned newsperson, it makes sense, but I would think they'd be trying to bring in someone younger who'd be around for a while, no?![]()

Johnrudy, my huband calls them newsreaders, too. He says the Brits have it right by calling them that.Johnrudy said:The 1st time I heard it was actually only yesterday.
