We've talked about who is the greatest group of all time, which ended up in a tie, between the Beatles and Pink Floyd. We've talked about what was the definitive song of the late 20th century, which ended up in a tie between " A Day In The Life" (Beatles) and "The End"(The Doors). Since we can't solve those mysteries, what is your favorite line from all the poetry that has been put to rhythm and back beat? For instance: "... and I dreamed I saw the bombers and jet airplanes, turning into butterflies, above our nation..." Just the lines that have really moved you...

And I'm wasted and I can't find my way home

The worst lyrics ever written-

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy I got love in my tummy,:bang:

And did they get you to trade
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cold breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?

And when the band you're in starts playing a different tune
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon...
