little audie finally here !

:clap_1: my sis finally had little audie today - she went to the dr. yesterday and little audie, being stubborn like her aunt, decided it was too hot to come out, so she turned and went from being in a perfect position to being a$$ first. so the dr said let's just schedule a c-section.. so they did. she arrived at 1:16 this afternoon, was 8 lb 10 1/2 oz. and that's all the info i got. my brother in law was so shook up i couldn't get any more out of him, other than my sis and the baby were still getting cleaned up, etc. hopefully by tomorrow morning i will at least have a name to post ...

i just talked to my sis - she is fine, a little itchy from the spinal block but doing good otherwise. little (or not so little) danielle leigh came into the world and the first thing she did was pooh everywhere (that's my girl !) and then she screamed bloody murder, then went to sleep. she nursed very well according to my sis, and all is well in the world. the nephew hasn't seen her yet, that should be interesting. my parents are going to get the nephew tomorrow and keeping him til monday when my sis comes home. i am going over next friday so will have some pics then. thank god she wasn't the 10 lb monster they were afraid she would be - now she can wear all the cute newborn stuff i got her !

My little bundle of joy was a whopping 9.5 lbs. It felt like I was giving birth to a portable TV! Seriously! (Natural childbirth)

JR - you got me beat (mine were 9.3 and 9.2 lbs respectively and both a week late!)

So happy to hear the good news Audie - Danielle Leigh!!!! Very pretty name. Can't wait to see the pics!
