Loggerhead Sea Turtle To Be Released Monday, June 29th Monday, June 29 at 8:30 am

Gulf World Marine Institute (GWMI) will release a loggerhead sea turtle back into the Gulf of Mexico. The release location will be at South Walton Lakeshore Drive at Inlet Beach.
Denise is a loggerhead sea turtle that stranded in the Destin area and was diagnosed with anemia a few short weeks ago. We are happy to report a quick recovery for the sea turtle. She has been medically cleared by our veterinarian and ready to be released back into the Gulf of Mexico.
Gulf World Marine Institute would like to invite the public to view this sea turtle being released back to the Gulf of Mexico.
