We locked through and went down the river the other day! Lot smoother than on the lake - ;-)

Very nice!! Wouldn't want to fill her up! We found gas at Lakeshore (Island Cove was out). $75 didn't fill it up. :eek: Things could be worse tho - I mean it is a pleasure craft, right? If you can't afford to play . . . . .

Labor day morning I put in 48 gal at Harborlights and with the 10% discount it coas me $167 :bang: :bang:
 
Definitely makes going for a spin or dinner on the lake a very expensive outing! Have you been to Steve's lately? We went on Saturday night thinking it would be so crowded (Labor day, etc. plus SAT night in Soddy), but we walked right in. I have figured out how to beat the crowds, or at least have a table when you're ready to eat. Call ahead early (say 6ish) and put your name down for a time - say 8:00. They go ahead and put you on the list for 8:00, you let them know when you get there and usually the wait is less than 5. ;-)
