Lovebugs!?!?!?

New posts
Where I'm at, the lovebugs seem fewer now than last week.
But look out for the migrating butterflies. They are so pretty as they flit about, but sometimes hitting them is unavoidable. It's not pretty when they go <splat> on your windshield.

No not GB and me  But the real ones.

Are they there now? Will they be gone by Friday? :idontno: Do I need to buy a screen for my truck? These things almost rurnt my car last year.

rurnt?[:funn: They were not kidding, huh?

We were there this past weekend and not many too many bugs at the beach. Then again we flew into Destin. so maybe I missed them. Not any in the 'ham and you will be driving through there.

Have funn...be safe!

They are all in louisiana!

It's definitely lovebug season here. Whenever we stop at a traffic light, they all seem to swarm to our car, which is white. Have you ever noticed that lovebugs love white?

I notice that lovebugs love the tourists' cars. Yes, they are definitely here. Take the burb to the car wash immediately upon arrival. Do not let the love bugs melt into the paint.

They won't harm your windshield.

Spray the front bumper, grill, lights, etc. with Pam and they will wash right off.

Except that you cannot see if you don't wash them off immediately after impact. Fill up that washer fluid resevoir and make sure you have some extra on hand.

I forgot about spraying with Pam. You probably will not have to do that 'til you get to the FL state line. I wonder if Pam affects the paint or clearcoat if left on the car for a short length of time.:idontno:

You definitely need to wash it immediately after driving.... Theyre are terrible to the paint
