SJ so how was my "neck of the woods" (our place in seacrest is our "vacation home" - out place at PCB is our "neck of the woods"Smiling JOe said:Mark today on your calendars. How was the traffic? Hope you don't go AWOL in Panty Maw! Let us know if you make it back with all your clothes on.
I made it back -- only 3.5 hours round trip driving time to drive sixty miles. Did I mention that I dislike sitting in traffic? ...and I am doing it again tomorrow, imasunbum said:SJ so how was my "neck of the woods" (our place in seacrest is our "vacation home" - out place at PCB is our "neck of the woods") See any boobies? . For the record, I did not go to PCB, but Downtown PC, which is a different town with no beach, nor any naked boobie flashes, but the traffic was still a nightmare trying to get across that bridge. If I did ever decide to go to PCB during spring break, I would definitely ride my bicycle because it would be so much faster than being stuck in traffic.I hope you're going for a good reason. On your way back- hang a left down where the Chateau Motel is. Run over to Harpoon Harry's and grab a pitcher or margs and bring it back to Jfunn. Grab her some Tums...she'll have heartburn after it.Smiling JOe said:I made it back -- only 3.5 hours round trip driving time to drive sixty miles. SJ I had to go to downtown PC one time in some major traffic that I knew was going to take at least two and half hours or more. Someone told me to go a different way and I did. The only way I know how to tell you is - I went East on 98 to 79, took left onto 79 and crossed the West Bay Bridge and took the first right at the base of the bridge after you cross it. I don't remember if I ever had to turn after that (if I did it would have been only once, or I would remember). I spent about 25 minutes on that road. Don't know if that would help, but at least you wouldn't have to just sit in traffic and may see something new. I am sure anyone around the 98/79 intersection could tell you the exact directions (whether there was an additional turn or not). Hope this helps.Smiling JOe said:I made it back -- only 3.5 hours round trip driving time to drive sixty miles. Did I mention that I dislike sitting in traffic? ...and I am doing it again tomorrow,. Hello gotothebeachmom - We may be neighbors but the house with the sun is not mine. My place is at The Villas at Seacrest Beach.gotothebeachmom said:Are we neighbors? Do you have a big ol' sun on your house? I love that sun!

Smiling JOe said:I am very familiar with that drive. St Joe's RiverCamps is on that road, Hwy 381, I think it is called. I know of another shortcut that I should have taken to avoid bridge traffic, but I was stuck in the left lane and missed it. I also forgot how terrible traffic is on 15th St. I will take Beach Dr tomorrow.![]()
