Customized golf cart to take hunting. :idontno: Hey I'm from Kentucky, things aren't much different here than they are in Alabama.

I heard the cows up there have legs that are different lengths so they can stand on a hill without falling over.

That's in the eastern (mountains) part of Kentucky, it's flat in the western part of KY, therefore, cows have the same length legs. ;-)

My dad used to tell me that while driving through Kentucky when I was a kid.

We're experienced with this. When living in the foothills of the Appalachians our Beagle looked something like this after 3 years walking on the hillside.

Sorry SS. Back to matresses >>

My husband walks everyday. He started having some lower back and hip problems, went to the doctor, doctor sent him the the physical therapist. The physical therapist lives in our neighborhood and has seen my hubby walking. He told my husband to change the side of the street he was walking on occasionally. He wasn't joking. The streets are sloped downward. Hubby did what he suggested and he did get better. Go figure.

FWIW
My husband and I are both back sleepers and LOVE our Temperpedic.
(Unfortunately, it is in storage right now. I miss it.)

I should add: the mattress was sold to us with a large piece of plywood which sits underneath, on the slats of our bed.

Can you still buy mattresses that are the standard thickness or has that gone the way of the wind? Our mattress will be due for replacement soon and I don't even want to think about having to buy new extra deep pocket sheets!

I have to have one made. It is a weird shape for my grandmother's poster bed. The corners of the mattress are cut around the posts. Not to mention we'll have to have sheets made too.

This was one great tangent!!!

Kurt...the salesman said they aim to get you a great night's sleep. However, I also need to know what happens to the returned mattresses!!!
