South Carolina just embarrassed the heck out of the Gators. Think I'll :puke:. Maybe next year? Don't think so with the schedule we'll have.

So guess I'll have to find something else to look forward to next fall. :(
 
If I weren't a Gator fan I'd say it was a heckuva story.

Still gotta love Steve. I thought he handled it well.

Kind of reminded me of the '92(?) Sugar Bowl when Lou Holtz completely outcoached Spurdog. Remember Jerome Bettis running up and down the field? Steve learned a lot from that game. I suspect this is going to be one of those moments for Urban.
 
Spurrier is right where he wants to be. He would have been a fool to come back to UF. A lot of coaches would have done it but SOS is no fool. It wouldn't have mattered how much F&M begged him, he would have turned them down.

The Cocks had a swagger today that should be on our sideline. They refused to lose. We expected them to be exposed but they nutted up and got it done for their new coach and their fans. We need to emulate the Cocks in order to beat FSU.

At present, we have a combination of coaches and players that equal a middle of the pack SEC team.

I hope we win our next 2 games. That will keep us on track recruiting and give us momentum into next year.
 
Kurt, dear, I could be wrong...but it ain't gonna take much to beat FSU. We suck worse than you do. :bang:

War Eagle sisters and brothers. It was nice to beat a legit team. Even if we only play a couple this season.

Was rooting for Bama, on behalf of my very ill brother-in-law. :( Hated to see them knocked out of the BCS.

Well, one other thing we have in common...to have high hopes only to see them crash and burn.

One of the more respected posters on the Nole board I visit posted late last night that one could replace our OL with five midgets. They'd be no less productive, and much more entertaining to watch.

Congrats to Kimmifunn and the other AU fans. That was a hellacious game.
