Snapshots: Comparing Projected Growth in Health Care Expenditures and the Economy - Kaiser Family Foundation

Also, as far as growth in costs go, the average is much less than 15% according to this report by the Kaiser Foundation.

Would you build a house here based on average wind speed?

Plus you are comparing two different things-Health care costs and Health insurance premiums.

Our insurance premiums have increased annually more than 15% for the last three years.

Right On! I can't count how many times in the "Health Care" debate I heard, "The US has the best health care system in the world; everyone wants to come here & use it. Why should we ever want to change it?"

The quality of health services available in the US is indeed outstanding. What is not outstanding is our health insurance system, which is, for the most part, provided by for-profit corporations. These corporations care at least as much about their profits as they care about the health of their subscribers.

The so-called "socialist, government-take-over, Obamacare" leaves our health insurance system in the hands of for-profit corporations.

The same for-profit corporations that gave us the "quality services" you consider "outstanding".. are still in charge, and you think that's a bad thing?
