Mer update

The Mer's made it safe. They got here last night about 8:15. They were all in one piece and a little road weary. We had a funn dinner and they got to meet Cammifunn, Fu-BarFunn, and Just Jason. We stayed up to the wee hours (well for us it was!). They had a great trip to SoWal and hated to leave. We're glad they stopped by for a brief, but wonderful visit.

Tell Mer that I thank her again for introducing me to Baker's Joy. It's Mr. BR's birthday today, and it saved me some time making his favorite birthday cake, a cherry pound cake with white icing decorated with frosting cherries.

They left already. They were going to head to Harry's Farmers Market and then to I-75 to head home.

The cake sounds wonderful girl! I wish I had a piece right now. That Baker's Joy is wonderful stuff. I use it on my grill pan when I grill veggies. No more veggies stuck to the pan!

They were at my house last night. Now they are headed home. They had a guest arriving at their condo today, so they left SoWal yesterday.
