I have to admit I never even noticed the mermaid on Starbuck's coffee cups! I'll have to stop and get a cup of coffee on the way home from work tonight just to see what the commotion is all about

Talk about over-reaction. I knew the Starbucks logo was a mermaid from googling "mermaid" when I'm on the hunt for new avatars. The Starbucks history is kind of interesting--the head shot is a sanitized version of the original, which, as before, is causing controversy. :roll:

OMG....why don't we all MOVE to EUROPE where the human body is revered and no one is ASHAMED of their bodies!!!! WTF ...we have gotten so PURITANICAL....... makes me SICK....we let our kids get away with MURDER but we don't want them to view a drawing of a mermaid and her chest???? The world is SCREWED UP!
