OMG....why don't we all MOVE to EUROPE where the human body is revered and no one is ASHAMED of their bodies!!!! WTF ...we have gotten so PURITANICAL....... makes me SICK....we let our kids get away with MURDER but we don't want them to view a drawing of a mermaid and her chest???? The world is SCREWED UP!

Isn't that the truth? In Europe there are boobies all over the place and frankly, after you've seen one, you've seen them all. (Or, as Merman just wisecracked, if you've seen two, you've seen them all :roll: .) Big Snooze!! But on the other hand, Europeans are truly shocked at how casual we are about violence on TV, in magazines, etc. I go with the Europeans. What's so big about flesh? What IS big is all the violence in our society...funny strange world we live in.

Someone told me that when I went to Europe to watch out for pick pockets..they have made an art of it...but you don't have to be afraid that someone will pull out a knife or a gun and kill you for pennies to help their crack habit

Beach Jacket is a well brought up daughter to be so considerate of her mother's friends. :clap_1:

Every time I go into the Seagrove Village Market, I look at all those mermaid children's books and have to slap myself to stop from buying one! My own daughter said to me about the mermaids--"Stop it Mama. You're going to scare people with all this mermaid stuff. You're getting like those old ladies who have cats...except you have mermaids." OUCH OUCH OUCH!!! (It's obvious I have a daughter who doesn't hold back, isn't it? )

My dearest Mermaid, every where I go and every time I see a mermaid, I think of you...that is a powerful thing...because I know I am not the only one...everyone on this board does the same...which means you are thought of quite often!

EXACTLY. I saw the most beautiful platter that had a mermaid on it last year at Christmas. I couldn't think of a thing to get my family yet I saw things thru the season that reminded me of people on the board. Does that make us a bit weird?

absolutely not - it makes us thoughtful....besides, i would rather buy for people on the board than some of my family.....
