Yeah, back in the day, katie. Long time ago--successful St. Louis band, signed by Atlantic, made a CD--nasty music business, yada, yada, yada--Atlantic didn't opt to make the second CD, band over. Guitar player, Richard Fortus, still a professional musician, has played with everyone from Guns N Roses to Ben Folds. (He plays lead guitar on "Rockin' the Suburbs.")
Mr. Pea played bass.

Yes, it's Lenny. Mr. Pod saw my new tar and asked why I was using porn as my avatar.

Mermaid, Mr. Pod doesn't play guitar much for us, mainly only when helping out Li'l Pea #1, who's learning. He sings a lot, though, but at inopportune times, as in along with the American Idol contestants, which is uncalled for! ;-)

Love it, it says his band was "the best thing to happen to St.Louis since Chuck Berry." Guess that makes you rock royalty, Pea! Can we call you P-Rock now?

Oh, so funny you'd mention that--that really jumped out at me, too. Pretty memorable quote, wouldn't you say? :D
We were listening to the clips last night, and Mr. Pod was bemoaning the recording of one of the songs. It just feels like a million years ago.
And, duuuuuude, "P-Rock" rocks!
