I hoped to post the first musing from Mermaid after I ate some lunch, but as usual I am waiting on HMM to get home! So, if I get the vapors in the middle, just SLAP me!
Mermaid had so much to say...we were on the phone for over an hour! Us hens can really cackle! Here are some of her favorites...mostly in her words...
She said the setting of the wedding looked like a fairy tale. The bride was beautiful and her dress was exquisite! Steelemama was a vision, so elegant and a delight to meet! Mermaid said that this wedding was all about the people and not about the window dressing! She said she and Merman were welcomed like old friends and instantly became part of the group! Mermaid said it made her realize even more...this is the place I want to be!!
Merman was dumbfounded by the power of SoWal! Posters and lurkers alike were calling her Mermaid all night and knew just who she was! She said she meet so many wonderful people that her head was spinning! SJ, was a favorite....she had so many nice things to say about him. In fact, she says he is the type of fellow you would like your daughter to bring home! That's saying something! Sorry to blow your cover SJ...it was just too sweet!
There was music (as you can imagine) all night. When the band would stop, a bunch of the many musicians would just get together and play!
She did say she was going to the Seabar tonight to dance since all she did
last night was talk!
