Pea....pack promptly!!! When do you leave? How long are you there? Take half of what you think you need. Throw in your most comfortable things which you will wear over and over. Fleece or sweatshirt...a must, to be worn with your flip flops!!!

Miss Kitty--we leave tonight after lucky13 gets off work. Have decided to go as far as The 'ham and spend the night, finish off the rest in the morning. We come home on Sunday.
Looks like the nicest day will be tomorrow; the rest of the weekend looks a little iffy. The swimsuit issue may be a moot point.

Jenay, the toes are acceptable right now, but I'm on the fence about doing an at-home pedi or squeezing in a "real" one today. We'll see how it goes!

I thought I kept up with most of the connections on this board, but I had no knowledge that you and Lucky13 were a pair. Have a great trip to the beach. Remember to relax and breathe during your ride -- it, too, is part of the journey and escape from work and home. ;-) Take time to notice the change of the landscape as you travel south. If you do, you will realize how connected the beach is to your home, located far away.

I agree Cheering!! I didn't wear a suit while I was there last week....not quite time there yet..we just sat on the beach in shorts...like the rest of the "natives"...only tourists wear a suit yet

Sounds wonderful! See when I go in late May/early June it will be mandatory swimsuit weather. Must guit eating junk...must quit eating junk...
