Missing person Blue Mt Beach [update: found]

Deputies were on the beach this morning something about a missing swimmer.

The surf was rough so hopefully it is a false alarm.

Yes, a helicopter has been circling and there are vehicles and personnel on the beach around the Blue Mountain Villas area.

Had to be a snowbird, because no Floridian without a wet suit and a surfboard would be out there today or yesterday. Brrr! Hope for the best.

Coast Guard plane out there now. Water not so cold...63, but, pulling on your ankles perty good. I was praying they had spotted a pot bail. No such luck.

There is crime scene tape surrounding the BMB beach access and still lots of WCS deputies around. The helicopter was circling back and forth over the gulf near shore and then for a while seemed to be concentrating looking on land by the sand dunes just West of Grayton.

Hoping for the best.

The tape actually said "Crime Scene" on it. Glad to hear it wasn't the case and everyone is alive and well...
