Molly needs your help!

New posts
I am so distraught...I have to board Molly for Christmas through New Year's and I have put it off hoping the Love Boat would sink and let me off the hook. Has anyone heard and/or used The Barking Hound Village for boarding? We have new one here and I see that it has an Atlanta location. I will be interviewing places today over the phone and could use some input here. Thanks....and don't tell Molly yet....

Sueshore. Please tell me you are coming to Sowal for New Years.
And Riv-O
And K-Dwells
And GTTBM and D
And Mermaid
All of our faves!

Send her to a doggie spa.

I've heard good things about Barking Hound Village, but I've never used them.

I've have used Best Friends Pet Resort in Alpharetta with satisfaction.

Sorry sweetie, I just use our vet when we board. I'll check around with the daughters peeps. They all have 4 legged children.

GTTBM has a great idea- does your vet board? Usually vets only board their clients- so that is nice!

jdarg i am so stupid. i just noticed the dog in the chair.

That is my "nephew" Swagger in his timeout chair. My "niece", the black lab Katie May, was a frequent Grayton visitor until the dog restrictions tightened up. One year she slept in the car at night. The next year the rules read "no dogs on the PREMISES", so that was that! Don't think little Swaggy will be coming to the beach :(

Miss Kitty- if you were closer, I'd keep Molly in a heartbeat. MacGregor would love a playmate!

Sueshore, gosh...you need someone in Atl to watch the pup? If we end up not leaving for Xmas, I'd be happy to keep Molly with us for the week. (We're about 20 minutes or less from the Atl airport.) She'd have a little farm to run around and Bailey loves playmates. Keep looking for other options, because we might be going to see in-laws, but it's starting to look like that won't be happening for various reasons. Please PM me a week or two before, I'll take her if at all possible. She'd be one pampered pooch, you know that..

Start searching for "dog/house" sitters!!! We stopped boarding our dogs when they kept getting so homesick for us and lost weight. We finally found a certified, bonded, trained lady, who does this for a living. She carries a pager, cell phone, picks up the poop, takes out the garbage, turns on/off lights, etc. We interviewed her, checked her out with the BBB. She'll give them meds, too, rush them to their vet if necessary. Our 2 dogs LOVE her. She plays and walks them. Comes 4 times a day (early a.m - late p.m.) She's not cheap, but it is such a peace of mind!! If you find a good one, this will be a long-term relationship! Call your vet and get recommendations.
