Most Watched Movie

I was in Fort Walton in 1976 and cable was new to me. There was 1 movie that basically played for the whole month I was here, 4 or 5 times a day. That was Blazing Saddles! At 16 it was by far the most halarious movie I had seen and I probably watched 2 times a day for the month I was here that summer.

Mel Brooks :D

Pretty ballsy to put a gay hollywood musical inside a cowboy movie, even a comedy.

I went to see Shawshank Redemption @ New Vision Boulevard 10 (Grand Blvd) on Tuesday night. It was the 25th anniversary of the film's debut. It was different to see it on the big screen.

Some gems to consider when you are looking for something else:

Fandango - Kevin Costner, Judd Nelson. A coming of age set in the Vietnam War era. Pat Metheny Group provides the soundtrack.

Ken Burn's "National Parks - America's Best Idea" - a documentary series really, but inspiring.
