I adore the paintings and think they capture a great and real life moment. Makes me wonder -- If one hangs underwear in Alys Beach, does it have to be white? I could paint the Mutande Bianca of Alys Beach Series. :funn:

By the way, I noticed another gender difference regarding underwear through this discussion. So far, only women have responded to the research question about where they put their underwear in the doctor's office. Gentlemen? Are there other responses that should be added if "on top of your pile of clothes" or "under the pile of clothes" don't fit for everyone? Do some people put their underwear somewhere else in the doctor's office? Should there be a "not applicable" response?

Wow... ever? Don't you have to put the underwear somewhere even just for for short periods of time. This thread is starting to sound tooooo personal... It was supposed to be a simple survey that would provide us with sociological insight of no social significance... I'm starting to embarrass myself. I'm happy to let this survey go and never really find out what men do with their underwear in the doctor's office. I'll just ask my husband and the male relatives in our family.

I try not to go to the doctor, but if she says remove your shorts, I ....
