My gripe...I lost some work I did...
I emailed to my yahoo account some work to do from the J-O-B. Downloaded the word document and actually did some work. Well, the laptop started beeping at me and Taylor was coming on so I just hit save save and ran to plug in the laptop. Watched American Idol and returned to finish. Guess I then closed it out without actually saving it somewhere I would know to find it on the computer. Now I cannot find it. I went to recent documents, opened word and looked at the bottom there and also ran a basic search...I know there are temporary internet files stored somewhere but don't know how to get there.
Such a thread killer, eh?

Yep - download and start to save it again, and the save dialog box should reveal the location of the temp folder. Just don't actually save it again or it might overwrite your changed file.
Otherwise do an advanced search of the hard disk for ".doc" files older than a day.

Our cable company is doing a "overhaul" which was supposed to get us better internet service. So far, our internet has been sporadic for a few weeks, and totally crapped out last night until about an hour ago. You can't call 'cause everyone in town is calling. Don't know when this will be over!
On the bright side, I totally caught up on non-computer related work and ate an entire 8 oz tub of hummus. Garlic. The dogs and cats are gonna die from breath at work today.
